Distinguished Participants,
My journey with EGIMUN began three years ago, when I attended my very first Model United Nations conference here as a delegate. What I first saw as an academic experience soon became something far more meaningful than I could have ever imagined. Since that moment, MUN has shaped my understanding of diplomacy and global affairs, while also shaping my character, ambitions, and perspective on life. Through these years, this team has become my second home and family.
Today, serving as the Secretary-General of EGIMUN is both a great honor and a meaningful milestone in my journey. Returning to the conference, to the home where my MUN experience first began, is a reminder of how much this community can shape each of us academically and personally.
Together with our Secretariat team, we have worked with dedication to create a conference defined by academic excellence, professionalism, and inclusivity. We believe diplomacy is built on dialogue, mutual respect, and the courage to stand behind one’s ideas. Our goal is to provide each delegate with a platform where they feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
EGIMUN is more than a conference; it is a community and a shared experience for each of us. I sincerely hope EGIMUN will become a meaningful milestone in your own journey.

Dear Delegates,
My association with EGIMUN began four years ago as a delegate, but this club has been much more than just a MUN experience for me. Throughout this period, EGIMUN has been instrumental in shaping my approach to diplomacy, teamwork, and responsibility, while I continued to grow both academically and personally.
Today, as the Deputy Secretary-General, I feel privileged to contribute to this organization that has been such a big part of my life. Assisting the Secretariat team, I look forward to making sure that EGIMUN remains a well-organized, inclusive, and academically stimulating experience for all of you, the delegates.
